Edgar House is a fine period Georgian house which we have lovingly refurbished to create Chester's premier small luxury hotel.

We are peacefully situated atop the ancient City Walls, overlooking the River Dee, yet offering all the convenience and benefits you'd expect from a centrally-located hotel in Chester. The city's historic attractions, shops and restaurants are only moments away.

Inside, you'll find original working fireplaces, a sweeping staircase and luxurious boutique-hotel bedrooms.  We've designed the spaces with chandeliers, an English heritage palette, squidgy sofas and dreamy beds.

Our lounges are gorgeous and cosy and one of them doubles as a mini cinema.  Outside, our spacious riverside garden is the perfect place to relax and unwind and perhaps somewhere to enjoy your breakfast or afternoon tea.
